Yes, her claim that Simpson has been "framed" is a curious one, but it needs to be examined thoroughly, not ignored.

As for her role, she seems to be more of a loose cannon, not some close conscious member of a conspiracy.

She is too connected for that silly assumption.

Yet, she may prove to be much more helpful to Trump's situation than you imagine.

What I don't know yet is how deep the Russians delved in the Clinton/Obama conspiracy. One could see their calculus; they all assumed Hillary would be the next President.

If she were playing the role you claim, why would she be totally trashing the reliability of the "dossier"? Her assertion goes strongly AGAINST the conspiracy to take down Trump.

She seems rather quirky and unreliable for a Russian intel agent. Unless she has been ordered to discredit herself, it seems more likely that she is playing a game of her own, as she has indicated. The FSB is not known for being this oddball. Not ALL Russians are agents. Perhaps she is doing some kind of role playing for others, but in any case we should try to know a lot more about her role.
