I wondered if this guy had been known to the FBI or law enforcement when I read another post about the shooting today. I figured if he was it would come out in the days ahead. Thanks for posting this.

Ditto. Apparently he was. He would have to have been placed on an SS watch list in case POTUS ever came to town.
