I took my son to see “Ready Player One” on Friday but I did want to see the Chappaquiddick movie. I’m not into video games but he is. So I suffered through... Lots of 1980s nostalgia but still stupid to me...

The Kennedy-love in 1960s Massachusetts was so thick you needed a knife to cut through it, especially after the assassinations.

They enabled and reelected a murderer, may he rot in peace.

How anyone can believe other wise is beyond me. I was stationed for 3 years on Cape Cod, and people readily admitted it, but still voted for him. Crazy bass turds!

Aw come on AB.

You got to see the movie! Like I said in my review, you got to be of an age to enjoy the thing.

And you’re right about the people of Massachusetts.

My beloved, departed husband was from Massachusetts although originally his family was in Indiana. Husband Billy was 16 when they moved to Massachusetts, right around the time of the great Kennedy water death.

So I’m talking to my mother-in-law the other day. She is now 89 years old. I tell her I saw Chappaquiddick and was she in Mass. at that time?

She tells me they had just moved to Mass. Her husband, Billy’s father, was President of Baybanks in Mass. and they all had to be loyal to their new state.

MIL tells me Billy was so unhappy that he threatened to run away back to Indiana.

She told me that the entire state of Mass. loved Teddy Kennedy, they didn’t believe he meant any harm. She said that with her husband president of a prominent Mass. bank they all had to act reverent and respectful of Ted Kennedy, that poor family had enough trouble they were told.

Like I said, they were from Indiana and in that state you don’t drive young women into ponds and leave them to die. But she respected her husband’s livelihood but to this day she thinks Mass. is a nutjob of a state.

It is truly amazing how large crowd psychology works. But it does work and the majority of the people everywhere are just that, lazy and stupid.

For some interesting examples - The French revolution, Lenin's take over of Russia, Mussolini's socialist elections in Italy are some of the more recent examples
