WASHINGTON (Reuters) - The Democratic Party filed suit against Russia, President Donald Trump’s campaign and WikiLeaks on Friday, charging that they conspired to disrupt the 2016 U.S. presidential election campaign, a court filing showed.

The party alleges in the federal lawsuit in Manhattan that top Trump campaign officials conspired with the Russian government and its military spy agency to hurt Democratic presidential nominee Hillary Clinton and tilt the election to Trump by hacking Democratic Party computers, the filing showed.

This lawsuit is good news, because...discovery is a stone bitch.

If this suit goes forward, Seth Rich will be avenged, among other things.

“Sounds like they’ve lost confidence in Mueller and are now relying on their pals in the courts.”

The “straw grasping” has now reached epic proportions! Good for them, by their actions maybe some of their supporters will finally figure out that they really are nuts!

Yep.

That is something the servile press doesn’t mention.

Last night I watched Hannity and the local news as both covered the memos.

Hannity and friends were pointing out how the memos disproved collusion.

The “news” that Putin had once told Trump that Russia had the best hookers and that Trump had been concerned about the judgment of an appointee.

The seriousness of the charges is now the serious need to bring charges no matter what they are.

Discovery works both ways. It doesn’t seem like they though this all the way through.

They are fools. Discovery by defendants should be interesting.

This is actually a good thing - it might force a lot of hidden information out into the public eye that the Dems might want to keep hidden.
It would be wonderful if it backfired on them.

The Russians by one account I heard seem to have spent less on trying to influence the election than Hillary and company spent on the fake dossier.

Through the process of legal discovery, lawyers for the Democratic Party could force the defendants to produce documents bearing on the collusion issue.

Why do I think that this is what this is all about?

LOL, they never do! The whiff of desperation is in the air. Not sure whether they're looking at their internals on the mid-terms, or whether they just had a little extra in the coffers and decided "what the heck? maybe it'll stick with the lofos, and definitely solidify our bases of The View of Jimmy Kimmel watchers."
