Former FBI director James Comey said Thursday if he could “change time” so that Anthony Weiner had never “been born.”

Comey made the comment about the former New York representative during an interview with New Yorker editor David Remnick.

“If I could change time, Hillary Clinton wouldn’t have used a private email server,” he said, according to The New Yorker’s live tweets of the event. “Anthony Weiner certainly wouldn’t have a laptop — maybe wouldn’t have even been born.”

Comey announced just days before the 2016 election that he was reopening the investigation into Hillary Clinton’s use of a private email server, after emails related to the investigation were unearthed on a private laptop owned by Weiner, who at the time was married to top Clinton aide Huma Abedin.

Weiner’s laptop was the focus of a separate FBI investigation into his alleged sexting with a teenager.

Clinton allies have blamed Comey for Clinton's election lost, saying the letter to lawmakers announcing the reopening of the investigation ahead of November 2016 cost Clinton votes.

Comey has re-entered the spotlight in recent weeks due to the release of his new book, “A Higher Loyalty.” He said in an interview earlier this week that his assumption that Clinton would win the election factored into his decisions related to the email investigation.

In another interview Thursday on CNN, Comey would not answer whether he thought the U.S. would be “better off” if Clinton had won the election.

When someone says something so asinine in a friendly interview, it makes sense that Comey has been 'handled', and has had 'handlers', since the Bush cadre identified him as useful cipher way back in the 80s when he first clerked for Walker in Manhattan, all the way through nabbing Martha Stewart for next-to-nothing, into the private sector straight to Lockheed. Quel dommage.

Hillary lost the election solely because of her poor judgement. If she had not decided to use her own server for all of her emails, without that decision there would have been no FBI investigation or “matter”.

On the Weiner laptop is Hillary’s classified email plus a video that brought the NYPD to tears watching it. These are guys that have seen it all but all could not hold back tears. If that comes out it is all over for many.
