Comey: If I could 'change time,' Anthony Weiner would never have 'been born'

Former FBI director James Comey said Thursday if he could “change time” so that Anthony Weiner had never “been born.”
Comey made the comment about the former New York representative during an interview with New Yorker editor David Remnick.
“If I could change time, Hillary Clinton wouldn’t have used a private email server,” he said, according to The New Yorker’s live tweets of the event. “Anthony Weiner certainly wouldn’t have a laptop — maybe wouldn’t have even been born.”
Comey announced just days before the 2016 election that he was reopening the investigation into Hillary Clinton’s use of a private email server, after emails related to the investigation were unearthed on a private laptop owned by Weiner, who at the time was married to top Clinton aide Huma Abedin.
Weiner’s laptop was the focus of a separate FBI investigation into his alleged sexting with a teenager.
Clinton allies have blamed Comey for Clinton's election lost, saying the letter to lawmakers announcing the reopening of the investigation ahead of November 2016 cost Clinton votes.
Comey has re-entered the spotlight in recent weeks due to the release of his new book, “A Higher Loyalty.” He said in an interview earlier this week that his assumption that Clinton would win the election factored into his decisions related to the email investigation.
In another interview Thursday on CNN, Comey would not answer whether he thought the U.S. would be “better off” if Clinton had won the election.

If you could select one item to change by changing time, I think there are a lot better choices than Weiner. Says a lot about his judgment.
Think Guilani, now on the Trump team, he made reference to th NYPD and the laptop last year.

Right - because then Hillary would be elected and not Trump and Comey would still be head of the FBI. The overt partisanship from the former head of the FBI reaffirms Trump’s decision and shows he has no business being on the job.

Im no fan of Carlos Danger but this is frightening thinking. Final Solutiony kind of. It is interesting as some freeps have pointed out here, Comey may not be liking what he believes is on the laptop.
