Levin is a big part of CRTV.
I read it. Whether, or not, Levin likes Steyn was not relevant to the resolution of the case. Steyn may be demanding and not tolerate incompetence, but no one should have been surprised about that. CRTV did not comply with the terms of the agreement, so they lost.
I think CRTV put way too much effort into recruiting Steyn, who was not an enthusiastic recruit to do another show.
CRTV should have moved on to someone else. When a guy says no 2-3 times, that might be a clue that he is not really interested. Throwing stupid money at him may get a person to agree, but you cannot buy enthusiasm.
The technical problems were huge, CRTV knew it in advance, and there was no indication CRTV would be able to fix their problems in any acceptable timeframe.
