You get rid of vermin by cutting off their access to food, then they will remove themselves.

You are going all technical on the mayor!

Why not use some kind of super quick-set sticky concrete?

New York City Mayor Bill de Blasio is on a campaign to wipe out the large populations of rats that plague the city. But, won’t Hillary complain?

You need to put another exclamation point behind “out”.

So it’s,

Watch Out! Rats!

I thought you got rid of rats by putting sterilization drugs in their food.

Time was, back in the ‘60’s, when men with .22LR rifles went to parts of NYC to kill rats. Of course, you can’t even own a common Ruger semiautomatic .22LR rifle in NYC anymore (it’s a scary “assault weapon”).

Trying to get rid of rats in a city like New York is a lost cause. You can try to clean up garbage more frequently. You can enforce housing codes more rigorously. But its not going to help much. And killing rats “humanely” is a joke - an expensive joke. Just kill them with whatever works.

I am not surprised that this rat extermination effort involving this corrupt piece of steaming excrement would have failed. For one thing, he has a history of failure with animals, having dropped the Groundhog Day groundhog at a local zoo on its head a few years ago. Secondly, how could someone who so closely identifies with RATs possibly be successful in offing some? This guy is a walking disaster; everything he touches turns to _____.

Hey, if it results in less demokRATS, what's wrong with that?

How are you going to do that when they survive mainly by eating human refuse? You’d have to put the sterilization drugs in HUMAN food.

The reason why NYC can’t get rid of vermin rats is because of fines. If a building has rats, the obvious solution would be to put out rat traps. But! if a building inspector sees the rat traps, he’ll fine the landlord for having rats! They completely ignore what the landlord is trying to do. Landlords don’t bother anymore because the fines are too much.

Then when the city exterminates on section of the town, the rats move to the next neighborhood.
