Why? Barbara Bush was a progressive, not a conservative, and she made no bones about that. She had a history of talking down to conservatives like the people that post here at FR (this is a site promoting conservatism, after all). Perhaps speaking poorly of her at the time of her death is poor form, but those Freepers that are posting ridiculous praise for this woman truly need to give their heads a shake.
I appreciate your reasoned reply. I will go to my grave thinking it is wrong to speak ill of the newly deceased. Why can’t people who have nothing nice to say have the manners to keep quiet. I might as well shut up & eat my oatmeal as it seems to be a losing cause to hope people could give their hate a rest.
