Whether or not she can be fired is one thing. But she doesn’t have to be paid $100,000 a year, although they probably can’t go below the salary equivalent of minimum wage. Nor do they have to give her a fancy office - a dark closet-sized room in a sub-basement should work just fine. And her school should have plenty of remedial English classes that need servicing, with lots of papers to grade during the team - I’m sure she’d notice if she were to realize those were to be her assignments for the rest of her sorry career.
