aimed at Qaddafi and his family,

Actually, no. It was intended to send a message to Q daffy. Building all around where Q was at the time were hit. Kind of like drawing a ring around the bulls eye. Q did get the message.

“You think Israeli intelligence analysts are going to speak on the record... even to an Israeli newspaper? Cmon”

Let me ask a different question: Why would senior Israeli intelligence officials attempt to undercut President Trump by characterizing his actions as “failure”; and saying of Trump's actions “this is mostly talk”; and saying “they themselves (Trump administration) show actions are not going to follow.”

Are senior Israeli officials trying to uncut Trump because they are eager see a son-of-Obama presidency in 2020?

More likely, this is fake news by an American journalist.

Belgian intel’s not much use unless we need to know something about their little corner of Europe or their former African colonies, or want a place for diplomats to have a good beer.

Ask yourself why Russia wants to keep Syria as an ally. What does Syria do for Russia?

Israel serves as the sole reliable US ally in the region, by its nature. This is more important than ever due to Turkey having gone wobbly and Qatar having a midlife crisis with the Muslim Brotherhood, and Bahrain having domestic problems of its own.

Israel’s the one place where our aviators can land with no risk of being taken hostage or with any controversy. It’s a safe port for ships to call with no controversy or strain on local relations.

They not only have the motivation but the ability to have our back in an emergency or crisis.

In the course of defending itself, it defends the world. Israel has taken out both the Iraqi and Syrian nuclear programs [which benefits everyone]. It counters Islamic extremism which plagues not just Israel but everyone across the world, especially muslims... and is growing here due to our complacency. Islamic extremists seeking to create a globe-spanning ummah aren’t going to go away anytime soon.

They play bad cop to our good cop in the region.

We work together on rocket and missile defense, cyberwarfare, and a hot of other technology types from drones and bomb defusing robots to vehicle protective measures, and it’s not just an “affirmative action” kind of relationship where their “help” is more of a hindrance as with some countries, their scientists, engineers and tchnicians really do know their stuff.

They have better linguistic resources than we do for translations- and much more familiarity with customs and local politics across the region- we cut our own nose off in the Bush and Obama admins by trying to depend on recruiting Muslims when we should have been using both to double check.

25% of all US exports to the region are bought by Israelis.

Israel’s been on the leading edge of agricultural research and clean water solutions and are working with Americans in these areas, and places like California should pay more attention and take advantage of their expertise.

Not bad for a place the size of a postage stamp.

Question: "Does war with Syria have anything to do with the end times?"

Answer: As civil war rages in Syria and other nations ponder potential involvement, some Bible teachers believe we can see biblical end-times prophecy unfolding right before our eyes. The Middle East is a religious-political powder keg and has been for years, but the Syrian Crisis seems to be making the situation that much more explosive. Because of Syria’s proximity to Israel, Egypt’s troubles, Iran’s threats, and the United States’ ultimatums, there is talk of the end times, Armageddon, and World War III.

It is true that, with every passing day, we draw closer to the Second Coming of Christ (James 5:8). And the prophecy of Isaiah 17:1 has yet to be fulfilled: “A prophecy against Damascus: ‘See, Damascus will no longer be a city but will become a heap of ruins.’” Damascus, the capital of Syria, has a longstanding reputation for being the oldest continuously occupied city in the world. It has never been without citizens or totally destroyed. But Isaiah’s prophecy still stands; there is coming a day when Damascus will be nothing but a “heap of ruins.” The current war in Syria could indeed be one of the events leading up to the capital’s destruction.

There are other verses in the Bible tethered to Isaiah 17:1, but the idea of a ruinous heap suggests that not one building is left standing in Damascus. The city will no longer be a city. Some students of prophecy believe a nuclear bomb could be the means of fulfilling this prophecy; others suggest the possibility of an earthquake. Regardless of exactly how or when it happens, two things we know for sure: God is sovereign and His Word will stand (Isaiah 40:8).

There is much unrest in the Middle East, and the war in Syria is capturing the attention of the whole world. However, this particular conflict, even if it expands to other nations, cannot be associated with Armageddon. That battle occurs near the end of the Tribulation, during the bowl judgments, as the nations of the earth gather to fight against the Lord (Revelation 16:12–16). The war in Syria, if it is indeed part of end-times prophecy, is more likely part of the “birth pains” described in Mark 13:7–8.

In 700 BC, Isaiah wrote of the demise of Damascus. Today, 2,700 years later, many believe that we are close to seeing that long-standing prophecy fulfilled. However chaotic the events on the world stage appear, we know that all things are working toward the fulfillment of God’s Word.

“The Lord himself will come down from heaven, with a loud command, with the voice of the archangel and with the trumpet call of God, and the dead in Christ will rise first. After that, we who are still alive and are left will be caught up together with them in the clouds to meet the Lord in the air. And so we will be with the Lord forever” (1 Thessalonians 4:16–17)

Then let’s call it a wash. It was a fake response to a fake chemical bombing.

Tucker Carlson interview with former UK Ambassador to Syria- the ambassador said the supposed chem weap sites hit, had been inspected and cleared in November last year. So.. maybe Trump/we knew there was nothing there- gave em a warning and we destroyed sites for something else. And we have the money to do this 105 times, pretty expensive... but a “signal” to both Assad and Russians that. we. could. flatten them quickly. And also to the 20K Iranian militia that are in Syria now, so a message to Iran.

A level of sophistication not seen in the prior run ups, and then there is “Linda” Graham’s “unnerved” info response- cause the intent to ramp this up full scale and waste the miliary rebuild money on stupid excursions was defused. One wonders. Maybe this is true— fake attack to respond to a faked chemical attack from the “moderate” we had been bankrolling - who are running out of dough. Pretty cagey.

You may have something here. You might crank in this extra sweetener for Russia. The Iranians have long backed the Chechen/Chechnya islamo loonies against Russia. So there is the added benefit to Russia, along with a pipeline in Syria that is fine with them. And on another whole level- levels the field between Russia (no longer soviet) and the clearly still commie Chinese under the new mao Xi.

I do not see Russia abandoning Iran, Syria or Hizbollah any time soon. Not for a pipeline or all the money in the world. Russia is solely responsible for the Iranian nuclear program, she needs to keep feeding her client state so long as they can pay and in Syria’s case they’re broke and Russia still is in there with 100% commitment.

The US regularly warned civilians before big firebombing raids. Moronic troll is moronic.

Hate to break the news to you, but Strom Thurmond has passed away.
Which RINO got hounded out of office for Ray-cism after praising him at his 100th birthday anyway?

Re: your post and tagline...the real irony is, given the vast overrepresentation of Jews in the top echelons of the New York press, how their cajoling of US voters into voting Dem in general and Obama in particular, screwed Israel by advancing militant Islam worldwide.

And it was Obama who gave them billions in cash and (with Corker) pushed the nuclear deal which more or less guaranteed them nukes in ten years.

Full disclosure: EMP is real.
