One of Parkland, Fla.'s most prominent student activists on stopping gun violence has called for a boycott of Vanguard and BlackRock, two of the world's biggest investors in gunmakers.
In a post on Twitter on Tuesday, David Hogg remarked on the firms' ownership of gun maker stocks, adding "if you use them, feel free to let them know." Then he added two tags: BoycottVanguard BoycottBlackrock.

I was horrified when Laura’s advertisers paid attention to this little twerp-——it just fed his ego,accomplished nothing,and made him feel that he can continue calling the shots.
I have more comtempt for the advertisers that knuckle under than I do him.

I’ll bet companies are getting pretty excited over being “boycotted” by hogg and his followers.

Yeah, I’m sure little Hogg (who can’t even get into college) is this sophisticated that he figured this all out on his own and called for a boycott. This just confirms that he is nothing more than a tool.
I own both and now I’ll invest more. As if any serious investor will listen to this kid, well maybe that Cramer guy.

This “update” has a purpose besides general amusement. One of my goals in life is to counter whatever the Boy Führer has to say. So if my post gets a few folks thinking about investing with Vanguard or Blackrock, all the better.

No one cares about his boycott calls. Did Florida's economy suffer due to his call for a Spring Break boycott of the state? What about FedEx, have they filed for bankruptcy yet over their refusal to drop the NRA? MyPillow defied him and Media Matters on the Laura Ingraham advertiser thing and were rewarded with big sales.
Hogg has no power to financially hurt anyone. He can only hope his social media noise machine can make them capitulate, and that's about it, if they don't, they're not going to be hurt by any long-term Hogg-led boycott.

By attacking financial investment in gun makers, David Hogg and his backers have cast off their camouflage as merely wanting public safety against illegal gun use. They are now openly on the offensive against guns, gun making, and gun ownership.
Quite often those who rant against guns prove to be the best at getting guns sold.
I feel that way about the media in general -- even validating these snowflake types, who aren't even rational.
I hope so just gave them my entire retirement port
