I read it. I do not trust its credibility or “facts” over Mattis, etc. (For example, the claim the Assad regime has only used non-lethal chem weapons on only military targets, previously, is just absurd.)

I don’t know anything about this deployment of troops/armor, but if anyone thinks that you can put together a large deployment of troops, armor, boats etc... in a weekend or even a week you know nothing about deploying troops. This has to be a previously planned deployment.

Yes, the 82nd airborne and small units (battalion sized) of Marines can deploy on short notice, but they are light infantry, no heavy armor and those units train and are prepared for rapid deployments.

And I doubt the Russians have the capability to airlift tanks and heavy armor in. I know they have some plane they built that's bigger than our C-5's but from what I've read in the past they almost never use them because they are always breaking down.

Yes, the word has been out for some time. The pipeline could reduce Europe's dependence on Russia, and Russia doesn't like that. And the fact that Russia wants to own Europe is certainly not breaking news.
