To: Yardstick

Prague is very interesting, because as you probably know, it was never bombed in World War II. Thus although much of the modern parts of it are rather westernized, there is still stuff that goes back to the 13 hundreds and 1400 s. Now you could say the same thing about Stockholm or Oslo, but for the most part the older things in those cities are kind of set apart as museums and there are many of them. The post office in Stockholm is from the 1670s. In Prague yes, you will find things are rather westernized, but there are plenty of things from the 15, 16, and 17 hundreds intermingled in a very Motley but interesting way. Great country.
