A negotiator who negotiates without a sense of morality and only in the moment isn’t a good or fair negotiator. And ultimately it catches up to them.

Whether I agree with the logic of those two statements or not, they are not at all relevant to the negotiation process. Consider, for example, whether your red paint is superior to my red paint because your's is from a different manufacturer.

I promise a nice weekend. The only way to determine whether red paint A is superior to red paint b is to agree on the standards and then do testing based on those standards. Trump’s standards are always porous.
