Interesting that they’re all in Southern California. You’d think some cities in the Central Valley would want to opt out also. Maybe that will happen soon. Major constitutional law issue will be decided on this question about whether the state can force cities to spend tax money on facilities specifically intended for use by illegal immigrants.
Southern California has the most to loose....and the further up the coast you get the more the people like someone else to do the heavy lifting even if they oppose sanctuary cities.
The whole thing is surreal. That’s like a court case about whether the state can force people to be accessories to criminal activity.
