It would be preferable to a civil war, but it won’t work.
The division is not regional but between urban residents and suburban/rural residents. The enemy is not in another state, but down the highway in the big city.
The answer may (unfortunately) lie in the statement: Let’s get it on. Let the chips fall where they may.
