:)

I was the post you were replying to, and "diplomacy" isn't working - don't you think?

At this point all that matters is who controls the military and a big super WMDs. I am pretty sure the libs control the military, and have gotten a good foothold over the years.

The American nation does not include every mindless meatbag in the country... IMHO.

I heard a historian once explain it this way.

“The United States are...” was once the common way to start a sentence.

“The United States is....” is now the common expression.

When did this change? After the Civil War.

The Civil War was the end of States Rights and the beginning of Federalism.

Good point. I should have checked that. I do not think the more direct phrasing is in our interests. If we cross over to a hot civil war, or to systematic government attempts to confiscate firearms from normal Americans, then the strategies used by the French Resistance could be reevaluated.

The Best recourse would be for White-Brown and Black Conservative men to move their families to Four states and eventually secede.

Further to my reply #47, note this additional comment on aspects of Federalism, sometimes not perfectly understood.

Article IV, Sec. 4 of the Constitution, directs that the United States shall guarantee every State in the Union a Republican form of Government--as well as protect each of them from invasion. That was understood, clearly, a guarantee against what has resulted in California--for the best example--in a Third World like Democracy, where a "one man one man/ one vote" idiocy has been permitting new arrivals to out vote the rooted heirs "the posterity" of the rooted citizenry, specifically identified in the stated purose--the preamble to the Constitution.

Arguably, the President is carrying out his sworn duty, in reacting to the ongoing invasion. Sadly, Clinton, Bush II & Obama, totally failed to do so. If it becomes necessary to protect the people of California from losing their Republic to a third world type "Democracy," it will become necessary because of their dereliction of duty.

See Leftist War On Social Continuity, for another perspective on the evolving social crisis.

Each country would have to have the right of political exile. Those exiled would be able to take their belongings and leave. If they refuse to leave just take them to the boarder and drop them off.

The "Historian" to whom you refer was not a Constitutionalist! The post War Supreme Court certainly did not agree with his definition of Federalism, which is certainly self-contradictory--both linguistically & logically.

There was nothing in any Federalist concept that fused the States into a single entity. One can argue over the respective functions; that involves a complex of concepts, dependent upon different perspectives--some legitimate, some not. But the concept of Federalism is not similar to a nation dividing itself into provinces, counties, districts or departments.

No, they won’t be satisfied until they impose that same life on Alabama with an iron jackboot.

I have an allergy. It causes me to react violently to iron jackboots.

It seems the Mods agree.

I think the pussyfooting is what they count on to continue driving the country over the edge. The politicians who supposedly "represent" our interests are only interested in getting invited to the right parties. They don't know how to combat the left and have no stomach for it even if they had the skills - and yes I know I'm painting with a broad brush but the outliers are powerless hence might as well not be there. I, for one, have had it.

Yeah, all of Illinois (except the 4 NE counties), Indiana, Kentucky and West Virginia, probabaly would disagree with the map as it is laid out.

Give Chitcago to Wisconsin and be done with it.

New Mexico Is mini California or as I call it the Peoples Republic of Eastern California. The main difference is NM has weaker Gun Laws and more graft, though New Mexico keeps the graft in the family so to speak. When it comes to political jobs and appointments New Mexico has old Mexico’s caste system down

Seems to me in this scenario the “red states” would suffer because the “blues” would get the big major ports (all of the west coast and half the east coast). But the “blues” would suffer because along with the seaports we’d get all the democrats. I imagine new ports could be built in the south but lefty democrats only get worse with time.

We all agree the map in the original article in the Federalist yesterday was ridiculous. How would a breakup be possible? Obviously it would be complicated and assets and liabilities would have to be divided up.

To those who think it could never happen.....it’s how this country was formed. It has happened in the last generation in the Soviet Union, in Yugoslavia and in Czechoslovakia. Two of those were more or less peaceful while the third was a mess.

It happened when Ireland gained its independence from the UK just over 100 years ago, it could have happened a few years ago when Scotland voted on the issue and something similar happened when Britain voted to secede from the EU (the negotiations are ongoing). Larger political entities breaking up does happen. Many times it’s for the best.

Exactly so.

There is no compromise. There will only be victory or surrender.

In our own country, we can change the way laws work based on the dominant lib cancer zones—the big cities. We can politically “dismantle” them. The rats will then scurry to the blue country—displacing them NORTH of the North border, or SOUTH of the Southern border. :-) Can you image how fun it’d be to the protect OUR borders!? No mamby pamby politics.

As for what a realistic map could look like.....some areas are going to need to be hived off of some states because their division is internal. Look at the county election maps for the last 4-5 elections.

Slice Miami off of Florida and Occupied Northern Virginia off of Virginia. Slice Chicago off of Illinois. Slice NYC off of New York. Slice Philly off of Pennsylvania. Slice Portland off of Oregon. Slice Seattle off of Washington state. Trust me, the remainders of those states won’t mind.

Separate the coastal strip north of Orange County running to north of Oakland from the rest of California.

Now things look pretty neat. Hawaii, the sliced off enclaves and coastal strip California join Michigan, Minnesota and the Northeast from Washington DC to Maine. This is socialist America.

Everything else is free state America.

Go outside of Detroit and the other big cities in Michigan, you’d think you’re in Alabama.
