I think Russia is one of the main suspects.

Russia, while it probably has chem weapons of its own back in Russia, is not a suspect here. Russia HAS turned a blind eye to Assad in exchange for a warm water port in the Med.

Instead of us wasting millions on bombs, etc...Lets just tell them what targets we want blown up and tell them when our satellites will be overhead to monitor and tell them to get busy.

This is just silly at this point. What the hell is the point of being in that craphole?

Now that makes all kinds of sense...not.

How would Russia stabbing Assad in the back and condoning an Allied strike be face saving?

They would be allowing it, without admitting that Assad did it, to avoid the embarrassment of taking a stand when they are in the wrong.

You’re right—it doesn’t make sense. I accidentally cut out a major section of a sentence.

It should have read to the effect:

Russian is willing to allow the U.S. to bomb some locations in Syria where the Syrian government has received advanced notice (and perhaps agreed to). Saving face for many people.

Why would we attack Assad? based on what? Thank God Trump is doing the right thing and we are now investigating on the ground. Of course when inspectors were in Iraq and it was looking like no WMD we stopped Hans Blix and just started invading anyway proving they don’t give a damn about facts. Look what that got us. Anyway BRAVO Trump for getting the evidence which he can now present, as required in the constitution— to the Congress if we want the war.

Soviet era order of battle. It is still Russias fault for setting up the facilities in the 60s.

Yep, formal wrist slap.

A complete and total waste in the service of pride.

My reason for suspicion of Russia is that the US presence on the ground gives them reason for establishing permanent bases on the ground in addition to their warm water port.

And that puts them permanently in the mideast.

Not to mention the fact that they have wmds, delivery systems, and the time to set something like this up.

I’m not saying they are the only suspect, simply that they cannot be crossed off my list.

Agree completely. If the US, Russia, and China agree to work together to make a more stable, less Islam-inspired world, then all ships rise and everyone’s military gets less expensive to maintain.

Russia doesn’t need US troops in the area to establish bases. Assad invited Putin in, and Obama opened the door to Russia getting a warm water port. That’s kind of a done deal now, much to our dismay. And Russia has always been too cozy with Iran, I think more to be a thorn in our side than for any other reason. Well, and money, which the Russians always need.

T4 was not an Israeli bomb strike. It was SA special forces. Jared has been a busy little beaver. Israel and SA on the same team. Who would have thunk.

What motive would Assad have for using chemical weapons? He knows that the deep state and sockpuppet media want to remove him from power. Why give them a reason?

What motive would Assad have for using chemical weapons?

What was Assads motivation for using them last year?

What was Assads motivation for trying to build a nuclear plant?

What is Assads motivation for letting Hammas attack Israel from his country?

The answer is the same for all of these, and the response from the outside is the same for all of these. Does aside seem like a rationale person to you?
