Finucane also told Bloomberg TV on Tuesday that Bank of America is working to further reduce its work with coal companies and put that money into renewable energy.

One more idiot company I won’t do business with. If on an online order the checkout goes thru Bank of America I will cancel the order.

No problem. All arms manufacturers should stipulate it is illegal to sell or use their weapons to defend any Bank of America building.

I sincerely hope all Freepers who are BA customers are opening new accounts at other banks. First Citi, now BofA. Liberals will start demanding these other banks answer why they still do business with merchants of death. They'll all quickly cave.

Charming that BoA can discriminate against prospective customers.
Sounds like a federal civil suit.

I agree with your take on it. It doesn’t please me either.
I will say I’ve been with them at least since 1988.
The problem for me, is that as soon as I change the next place could do something I don’t like either.
Over the last 30 years, BofA has been very accommodating to me.
I have a number of accounts set up with BofA, and moving my account would be a major headache.
If I were looking for a new bank, I would take a pass. Then again, They have provided very good service to me also.
How many other banks have already taken this same sort of action, but it didn’t leak out?

So the 0bama-era mentality to destroy the coal industry and that firearms are only for the Chicago and Baltimore thugs is alive ans well in corporate America.
Everyone else must remain defenseless and dependent on a benevolent government for their well being.
Let market forces circumvent this act of this subversion.
