Gore won the popular vote as I recall, too.

Gore couldn't even win his home state. As in 2016, after discounting all the vote fraud, the RATs lost the popular vote as well as the EC.

You and I know vote fraud would have changed the final popular vote total, but Gore won by about 400,000 nationwide. That's what ticked 'em off.

And remember the early call from the networks which affected thousand of voters in the Florida panhandle, which may not have flipped the popular vote, but it would have flipped Florida, such that the recount would have not been necessary
