Let’s add to that, the armchair warriors thirsty for bloood, while having zero of their own to offer.

The side arguing not to go to war has at least offered reasoned, logical arguments to not engage. While the pro-war side offers nothing beyond emotion and &@%k-measuring. It is apparently not a Left-Right thing to be led by emotions, as has long been argued. Maybe there is more to the importance of the socio-sexual hierarchy in macro issues, and not just interpersonal relationships.

We have zero reason to do anything with Syria. It serves no American interest. One of the Top 5 reasons we voted for Trump was to get out of this continuous cycle of wars. It is hardly being NT to stay with a position you used to justify supporting him, and which DJT himself supported at one time.

Thankfully, such is not the case in this instance but I appreciate your input.

I want no war with anyone. That said, I trust President Trump to continue to make pro-America decisions. It’s why I supported him since the beginning & will continue to support him until he gives me a real reason to change my mind.

"...hardly being NT to stay with a position you used to justify supporting him..."

Good point.

If candidate Trump was the gold standard, then President Trump seems to qualify as more Never-Trump than does Bill Kristol.

It is fun, and useful, to analyze which bad guys are less bad in Syria. But the Trump of today is absolutely not the Trump of the campaign trail when it comes to Syria.

I'm not Never-Trump on Syria. I'm Original-Trump!

Also, all the talk about Trump having more info than we do so... shut up, is kinda silly. Ask Teresa May, she is not convinced it was Assad yet either.

And it doesn't matter either way. It's not like Assad was good during the campaign and now he is bad.

If Trump has experienced some neo-con conversion, then he should be honest about it and make a clear case that pipelines and such are worth our blood and treasure. This misguided notion that we must mobilize and kill people because somebody did something bad to a relatively small number of other people, who for the most part hate us too, is going to keep us quite busy doing exactly what Trump promised we would not.
