Loretta Lynch preferred to meet on a DOJ plane because she knew that if would not be bugged. She and Bill were free to discuss whatever they wanted. They never intended to be discovered on the tarmac in AZ. Comey used the tarmac meeting to take over the decision on whether to prosecute or not. Since the fix was already in, Lynch probably preferred it that way. In fact, she could have colluded with Comey on the decision.
Hopefully, the IG report will shed more light on what really happened. Maybe someone in her security detail will spill the beans.
