Facebook has repeatedly punished a fast-growing news website for its conservative views on immigration and other topics–suspending its moderators, censoring content, and threatening to close the site down. Voiceofeurope.com, which takes pride in its “uncensored news,” has been effectively bludgeoned into submission by Facebook and recently announced it will self-censor on the social media site to avoid losing its page.

Saw the same site get blacklisted at Twitter. It showed videos of what a s*hole some places in Europe have become.
Interesting. I have been posting conservative opinions on Facebook. Waiting to get banned. I’ll let you know when it happens.

People are fools for letting that monster into their lives. Just try and get your personal info back. It’s out there now. FR is as close to social media as I get.
Forcing them into “common carrier” status sounds good if we have a sane President like Trump, but when Obama 2.0 or Hillary 4.0 gets into office, and imposes the “Fairness Doctrine” on those “common carriers”, all conservative speech will be silenced by government order rather than the whims of some over-entitled jerk CEO.
I’d much rather see either the “Cake Shop Ruling” (the business owner’s personal objections to a customer’s lifestyle aren’t grounds for refusing service) or an anti-trust suit be levied against Facebook/Twitter/Google/Youtube.

That private dinner meeting with President Obama dated February 17, 2011 now looms larger and larger in the legal side of things. We could end up with some of the biggest names in technology besides Facebook facing potentially serious charges of violating the First Amendment because of this dinner meeting.
Every time you log in you are giving them more money and power.
