But Chucky never had a problem with how Obama used Omnibus funds!!
NOPE!
Take the Education Dept. budget, fund the Wall and inscribe the U.S. Bill of Rights horizontally ...
... VIEWABLE FROM OUTER SPACE!
Thank God we have Trump.
Gentlemen be damned!
He got the money in the omnibus! Planned Parenthood, $0! Wall? Planned Parenthoods $ goes to the Wall!
Maybe we can get one for his un-funny cousin, Amy, as well.
Some are saying that the bill blocks Trump from building the wall he wants.
Others are saying that the bill blocks Trump from using the funds allocated in the bill to build the wall he wants.
***
Neither, if I remember correctly.
Trump doesn’t get the wall he wants from the 1.6 billion allocated for ‘border security.’
However, considering that the border wall is now a national security issue, he doesn’t NEED that 1.6 billion; he can reallocate a nice big chunk of military spending towards it instead.
>>I think its all pretty stupid discussion. Even if Trump were to try to do that, I guarantee the courts would put a stop to it before he could even finish his announcement. In my opinion Trump screwed up by not fighting for it now, making it harder for him to accomplish this key campaign promise.<<
Trump’s base, and I suspect even the majority of fence-sitters, would be supportive of him if he announced his decision to have the military build the fence, and simply ignored any court that tried to stop him. It’s time he invoked the separation-of-powers doctrine and defied the roadblocks thrown in his way by the other two branches. It’s way passed the time for a head-to-head constitutional showdown on the obstruction of the President’s executive authority by the judicial and legislative branches.
Trump should frame the Wall project in light of the human trafficking going on between Mexico and the U.S., in addition to immigration/security.
People don’t like to think or hear about the travesty of human trafficking and sex slavery (including children), so it’s hardly ever mentioned. It’s the elephant in the room. Now is the perfect time to blast the airwaves with every disgusting issue, including faces of victims, relating to this nasty business. If the Rats’ constituents understand the truth about sex slavery, etc., they might have a harder time trying to quash the wall.
I seem to remember something from last week about construction starting yesterday. Anyone know if that happened?
If I remember correctly from the campaign Mexico is going to pay for the wall, whats the problem? Commence building.

The promise has always been that Mexico will INDIRECTLY pay for the wall.
And they are already.
But the problem is getting the money from the treasury to the workers.
Serves them right for not passing a budget!
Schumer knows this. We are now seeing the game front and center.
Trump wanted it exposed. It is.
Think about it.
Actually, the President is in very solid Constitutional ground.
Hopefully, SCOTUS would take it up on an expdited basis and do away with the white noise.
Though the wall may well be done by then.
All lower court actions should be ignored.
We can’t have national security without border security.
President Trump is CIC, the Pentagon listens to him, not the other way around.
No matter, construction on the wall started yesterday.
Schumer can go and reproduce asexually.

The English language lacks words to adequately convey my contempt for and loathing of Chuck Schumer.
