There is zero chance that the senate will ditch the filibuster rule at this point. No Dim would vote for it and there are several Republicans who would oppose it, some specifically to thwart Trump’s agenda just as that was the intent of the Omnibus just signed into law.
It bugs me that Trump is dwelling on something that has no chance of being done.
It’s pretty clear he just lost the string on this with everything else going on, thought he was going up get something decent but didn’t realize they were serving up a turd sandwich. He should have known better - all they serve up are turd sandwiches.
So, now he’s angry tweeting to try and make us feel better. The filibuster won’t end until the Democrats control the WH and Congress but are short some Senate votes for cloture on a big ticket item like a gun grab, amnesty or energy taxes. Just pathetic.
