That's just about the only thing that's on at my house.
And still I wear the wrong coat when I go out.
But this is really impressive about Byron Allen.
I always assumed he was the biggest joke and failure in show business.
It just goes to show you ...

My cable system dropped The Weather Channel a year or two ago.I liked it...particularly for blizzards and hurricanes.

I have worked outside my whole life so weather is actually very important to me. I can get all the free weather apps on my phone I could want. Radars, forecasts, you name it.
I never watch the Weather Channel

Looked at his pic and still don’t know who he is.

I had not heard anything from Byron Allen in over 10 years.
Who knew that he was good with a dollar?
Some people are smart enough to save while the cash is flowing.
Byron was never a ‘hot ticket’ comic as I recall him. He’s the type of comic you would see hosting game shows ,awards ceremonies or as an opening -warm up act before the featured star came out. Pleasantly bland and mostly inoffensive.

Wasn’t he on Entertainment Tonight or some such crap?

Maybe they will stop giving winter storms and blizzards “names”

I gave up on The Weather Channel, when they had the totally worthless, Al Roker on in the morning.

Once upon a time, the ability to see local weather on the 8's mattered because the newspaper's forecast was a day old, the local TV forecast would be only on every few hours and even the radio station might be every half hour. Now you can get a current forecast with a glance at your phone. Most of the stuff I've seen recently on the Weather Channel has been along the lines of "When Tornadoes Attack".

Current weather broadcasts are a joke anyway. This will be stoopid weather laced with Trump hate.

[ Never heard of this guy ]
I thought he was O.K. He bought up a bunch of internet domains and produces shows like Cars.TV which is usually alright. Made money off that.
Then I noticed his comedy show would have “special” episodes called “Hot Chocolate” - i.e., featured only black comedians.
Oddly enough, I never noticed a “White Chocolate” version. Or “Red Licorice”, “Yellow Cake”, “Brown Cocoa” version.
Odd, that.
