The ‘RATS haven’t been this happy since the Parkland school shooting. Lots of partying tonight.

Then let them own the debt if they’re so proud of this.

This was the big one for me. I sick of fighting our own gutless party. Let the illegals flow through...let em all vote. Let Texas turn blue. Let em impeach Trump. I’m at a point to where I don’t care anymore.

The GOP are weasels. I can’t recall who said this, but someone said that it appears like the GOP prefer to be in the minority because they can still get their perks and they can pretend to be conservative and whine that they can’t do anything because of the Democrat majority.

Don’t worry about it. You expressed the anger so many of us are feeling right now. I’ll still support him, but today wasn’t a good day for him or the country. He indeed blinked and the Deep State took advantage of it. He lost a lot of support today.

No kidding. They know they just handed Trump his walking papers in 2020.

“Schumer acts like he won at poker....and scooped the whole pot for use by Dems only.”

Anything the dems are happy about, is a sure sign that it’s bad for America. Get ready for Speaker Pelosi, although anymore she can’t be any worse than Ryan and McConnel.

Daunting understates the task Mr. Trump embraced running for President. An obstruction unforeseen by those who are blatantly and surreptitiously reshaping American values manifested in President Donald J. Trump. He has forced the scurrilous into the open, exposed treachery within his own party, denied propaganda control of narratives. These are unprecedented achievements.

As the money and power cabals recover from the surprise of losing the election, we can see the depth of their depravity and infestation. One person provided a glimpse, to anyone willing to look, at the slithering bolus of parasites destroying the USA. There is no miracle cure, no quick fix, no superman. I continue to support President Trump. To those that don't, think about it.

“...I continue to support President Trump. To those that don’t, think about it.”

Your points about Trump are well placed. His accomplishments are unprecedented and they take many forms. I think that the majority of the disappointment about today’s event is that idealistically most wanted to see Trump counter the bad actors in the Congress by standing with his key agenda items. Many take the military needs, and the reasons for them, lightly.

I too stand with Trump. He is, and will continue to be, the best thing that has happened in our government since Reagan. The alternatives are too scary to think about. Yes, we lost a battle today....but the war is far from over.

Trump took his base for granted and now the fall out.
No wall, no defunding of sanctuary cities, no defunding of planned parenthood, no cutback in H1B or H2B visa; no cutting legal immigration by one half.
No, nothing.

The “moron” (as Tillerson called him) in the WH earlier threatened to veto over DACA!! Looks like Jvanka won.

Does this seem strange. Both senators in Iowa, Nebraska, Colorado & Idaho voted nay - along with California & Massachusetts.

Nothing I can do so I just stand back and watch. I never put my faith in a politician.....even Trump. Learned my lesson long ago on that.

U.S. Sen. Ted Cruz (R-Texas) today issued the following statement announcing his intention to vote against the omnibus spending bill:

“In 2016, the American people voted overwhelmingly for Republicans to change Washington. Now, Congress is poised to do the exact opposite: pass a massive $1.3 trillion spending bill — 2200 pages drafted by the Swamp in the dark of night — that will plunge our nation even deeper into debt.

“The disastrous elements of this bill are almost too numerous to list.

“It continues to fund Planned Parenthood, a corrupt organization whose horrifying abortion practices should preclude it from receiving taxpayer dollars.

“It continues to fund sanctuary cities, which are defying the law and making Americans less safe. Instead of rewarding sanctuary cities, we should be passing legislation like Kate’s Law, a bill I introduced that would put criminal illegal aliens in jail so they cannot prey on innocent Americans.

“It fails to provide sufficient funds to properly secure our border, let alone build the wall that is necessary.

“It tells federal agencies that they can spend taxpayer dollars to study the ‘causes’ of gun violence, a mandate that – make no mistake – will be abused by future liberal administrations to manufacture evidence to try to violate law-abiding citizens’ Second Amendment rights.

“It funds the Ex-Im Bank, a classic example of corporate welfare that has doled out over $100 billion in taxpayer-guaranteed loans, primarily to a handful of giant and well-connected corporations.

“It fails to reduce funding for the EPA, which under Obama administration zealots, killed thousands of jobs and dramatically strayed from its core mission of ensuring clean air and water.

“All of these measures amount to piling even greater debt onto the backs of our kids and grandkids, all because we are incapable of living within our means.
