Giddy Up – DOJ Admits They Have a Grand Jury Empaneled in FBI and DOJ Investigation…
Conservative Treehouse ^

Today chairman Bob Goodlatte sends a formal subpoena to the DOJ (Inspector General Michael Horowitz) for documents regarding the investigation of Hillary Clinton’s private email server, potential abuses of the Foreign Intelligence Surveillance Act, and the FBI’s Office of Professional Responsibility recommendation to fire former FBI Deputy Director Andrew McCabe.

However, it’s not the subpoena that should make the news. Pay close attention to the DOJ response:

Chad Pergram @ChadPergram

DoJ on Hse Judiciary Cmte's subpoenas: We are individually reviewing the remaining documents to ensure that they do not include grand jury information, information about ongoing law enforcement actions involving American citizens, or privileged attorney-client communications.

Oh, what’s that? Yes, the DOJ has to review the demand for evidence because release of those documents might conflict with ongoing Grand Jury information (evidence). Yes, that means a Grand Jury is impaneled, exactly as we expected.

Yes, that also means there are “law enforcement actions” currently ongoing as a result of the prosecutor assigned to reviewing the evidence discovered by Inspector General Horowitz.

Are there still those who doubt?

Congress is compromised.

Would you disagree?

I know what you mean.

There are good days, bad days, ups and downs, but at the end of the day it comes back (to me anyway) that it’s positively SUPERNATURAL that Trump won, and again, that he remains unscathed and still standing, with a record breaking *first year* number of accomplishments.

He goes nowhere if we stay the gap, encircling him and our nation, in prayer.

MAGA! In God We Trust!

“Yes. This DOJ, even under Sessions is not to be trusted.”

Since the DOJ/FBI cabal has been stalling and lying for more than a year, why should anyone take at face value, some a$$hole at the DOJ alluding to a Grand Jury as a reason for withholding material from Congress. I’d really like to be wrong about how I see things, but I will need a whole lot more that this to change the way I feel.

Several Congressional committees are doing good work.

Sessions, under oath, has recused himself leaving Deep State Rosenstein in charge.

Do you like Rosenstein in charge of all investigations connected to Clinton?

In early March, Sessions admitted to the press that he has appointed a person “outside of Washington” , many years in the DOJ to act as special investigator (with prosecutorial powers) to coordinate with IG Horowitz.

When a government body is compromised, you can’t allow its members to participate in real work.

This could refer to documents related to a grand jury empaneled by Mueller since many of the same people were involved in matters Mueller is nosing around and matters related to the House committee’s document request.

Maybe we’ll know for sure soon.

I would! When you look at this colossal turd of an “omnibus budget bill,” I conclude that they aren't compromised so much as they are all in cahoots to drive Trump from office, and return the RATs to power. Because for the GOPE being the minority party is such a comfortable spot where you don't have to be held accountable for anything, and you still get paid the same.

By recusing, has not Session freed himself up to acquire an outside investigator (prosecutor) who will coordinate with Horowitz.

In essence, Sessions has done an end-around from any potential blockages that a conventional special prosecutor system would incur.

When a government body is compromised, you can’t allow its members to participate in real work.

Then you agree that the DOJ is not to participate in the "real work".

That’s the definition of compromised.

Who isn’t compromised?

Trump isn’t.

Sessions isn’t.

Therefore, they are allowed to participate in real work.

The supposed "investigator" is not outside the DOJ. The investigator has worked for the DOJ for a long time. The investigator is "outside" of DC.

Since Sessions is recused on these matters, this investigator would answer to Rosenstein.
