Good thinking. He is identified via facial recognition, then all the cellphone carriers have to identify all the phones active on nearby cells at the time. But, still, they have already ID’d a suspect to look for. How?
Or, being not too bright, maybe he made it a lot easier for them — he put his own real name and address on the shipping form.
These cellphones have GPS unless you turn it off. I'm guessing he's not a real techy person....I'd say his forte is mechanics.
