Mueller's involvement in one of the FBI's most embarrassing cases
resident Donald Trump directed angry tweets at Special Counsel Robert Mueller over the weekend. The tweets were prompted by the Department of Justice’s decision to fire Deputy Director Andrew McCabe Friday as recommended by the bureau’s Office of Professional Responsibility took action on McCabe after the DOJ’s Inspector General handed over evidence that the former FBI agent lied under oath and leaked information to the media.
Trump’s Tweets on Mueller appeared to some Republicans and Democrats to be a veiled threat to fire Mueller. Those lawmakers warned the president that it would be the ‘beginning of the end for his presidency’ if Trump fired the special counsel. They also criticized Trump’s attorney John Dowd for suggesting over the weekend that the Mueller probe should end. Ty Cobb, the president’s personal attorney, reassured lawmakers on Monday that the president does not plan to fire Mueller.
But Dowd is not alone.
McCabe’s firing should raise serious questions as to where Mueller’s investigation is going. Mueller’s past involvement in cases casts a very different light on the former FBI director than the one painted by his proponents and the media, said David Schoen, a civil rights and defense attorney. Schoen has been outspoken on the special counsel and criticized Mueller’s top attorney Andrew Weissmann’s involvement in the investigation, as reported.

It was directed at Trump’s reference to Mueller. Sounded worse isolated and out of context than it did in context, but what else is new?
Mueller is dirty.

It is absolutely clear that we need a second special prosecutor. This second prosecutor should investigate everything that Mueller is not investigating, as well as Mueller’s operation itself.
It is crazy to launch an investigation into “Russian meddling” and “Collusion” of our election but to focus it only on one of the many candidates. The Clinton campaign should be front and center of this investigation, and for due process Jill Stein and the Libertarian candidate and everyone else should be in the mix.
The fact that Mueller himself is conflicted - he is tasked with investigating his friends and longtime confidants and the agency he once led - is just one of many conflict of interest problems. Add to this fact the clear biases of people brought onto the task force and you have too many appearances of impropriety to let it go forward as if it assumed to be a fair process.
Trump should not fire Mueller. He should order Sessions to form a 2nd investigation to look at Clinton campaign’s ties to Russia and other countries, the FBI’s involvement in election rigging and other criminal conspiracies, other agency cover-up such as State Dept and Justice Dept, and including whether the Mueller investigation has been part of a conspiracy to obstruct justice... and like the Mueller campaign mandate to follow the evidence wherever it may lead them.
There is too much evidence that the FBI was in on the conspiracy obstruct justice at a minimum. Clinton campaign, DC Law firms and all the other characters out there. The Justice Department cannot investigate itself. The only way is to appoint a 2nd special prosecutor.
Trump should refuse, and he should order Sessions to appoint a second special prosecutor as I wrote above. This is so obvious I am surprised it is not already being pushed for. Mueller is conflicted deeply. He has appointed associates who are conflicted deeply. Too many appearances of impropriety. He must be put into check. His investigation must be investigated. Is the Mueller investigation being used to whitewash and cover-up the crimes of people inside the agency he once led?
He cannot claim clean hands. He never could but now given what we know about McCabe, Sztrok and the treatment of the Uranium One informant just to name a few - plus the odd fact that he is only investigating collusion against Trump when everyone knows the connection with Clinton to Russia and Ukraine among others - it makes no sense. It is like trying to stop police corruption by investigating a few people suspecting of paying off the cops.
Isn't it the credible Monmouth Poll that has found a majority of Americans want the Meuller probe to end? Time for a gunfight at the OK Corral?

“If you have an innocent client, Mr. Dowd, act like it,” Gowdy told “Fox News Sunday,” who added Mueller’s probe should continue.
Like Gowdy, Sen. Lindsey Graham, R-S.C., also stressed that there should be a second special counsel, telling this reporter, “the system is working, we should let it work. Firing Mueller would be a grave mistake.”
The quote was poorly-referenced, probably due to an edit or what I label "knowledge corruption." I understand the reference - as you do - but literally it's out of context, not my interpretation thereof.

If Trump is forbidden to fire Mueller, it looks like it’s up to investigative journalists (not MSM Rat propaganda arm) to shred his credibility and take him down. Nobody’s past is squeaky clean, but it seems that his is less “swamp”, and more “sewer”. Dredge up everything on him and his nasty past.
Damon was already in, “The Departed,” which was loosely based on Bulger.
