McConnell says Mueller has ‘great credibility,’ shouldn’t be fired (RINO alert!)

Senate Majority Leader Mitch McConnell on Tuesday broke his silence over President Trump’s virulent Twitter attacks on Robert Mueller — saying the special counsel had “great credibility” and should not be fired.

“Well look, I agree with the president’s lawyers that Bob Mueller should be allowed to finish his job,” the Kentucky Republican told reporters on Capitol Hill.

“I think he was an excellent appointment. I think he will go wherever the facts lead him and I think he will have great credibility with the American people when he reaches a conclusion of this investigation,” he said.

Trump first attacked Mueller by name on Friday, once again dismissing the investigation into Russian meddling in the US election and possible collusion with the Trump campaign as a “witch hunt.”

“The Mueller probe should never have been started in that there was no collusion and there was no crime. It was based on fraudulent activities and a Fake Dossier paid for by Crooked Hillary and the DNC, and improperly used in FISA COURT for surveillance of my campaign. WITCH HUNT!” the commander-in-chief raged.

He followed up with a second tweet targeting Mueller on Saturday.

“Why does the Mueller team have 13 hardened Democrats, some big Crooked Hillary supporters, and Zero Republicans? Another Dem recently added…does anyone think this is fair? And yet, there is NO COLLUSION!” he wrote.

Several GOP lawmakers voiced support for Mueller after the tweetstorm.

Sen. Lindsay Graham of South Carolina said that if Trump fired Mueller, it would mark the beginning of the end of his presidency, while Rep. Trey Gowdy, also of South Carolina, said that if Trump was innocent, he should stop acting like he’s guilty.

But McConnell made no public comments until Tuesday.

Meanwhile, administration spokeswoman Sarah Huckabee Sanders defended Trump’s tweets, saying that the president was “frustrated” that the probe was ongoing despite his repeated protestations of innocence.

“To pretend like going through this absurd process for over a year would not bring frustration seems a little bit ridiculous,” she said.

“Clearly, we have not been shy about the fact that there is frustration of this process. We would like it to end quickly and soon and the president has contended since day one and will continue to do so, that there was absolutely no collusion between his campaign and any outside force or country and so I don’t understand why it’s hard for anyone to process,” she continued.

Trump, she said, “had been attacked mercilessly and continuously day in, day out, every single second” since taking office.

McConnell is guilty of corruption.

Mueller stands between him and prison.

Mueller is a dirty cop.

McConnell defends Mueller.

Where does it say anywhere that Trump is going to fire Mulehead? It’s just wishful thinking on the never Trumpers part.

Trump knew he was entering a battle ground set against him.

This he was told by the patriotic military (those against Obama).

If Trump had failed, I have no doubt that the USMC (and other loyal patriots) would have effected a counter coup to rescue this country from the Commies who thought they had overthrown it.

They will face a firing squad...and we will toast their demise.

Hey Barky...how do you like us now?

The entire Washington “insider” crowd is all for themselves and President Trump knew and understood this from the very start...He fights back and they can’t seem to get over that...
President Trump’s biggest asset is that he’s NOT a politician and he loves this country...

Actually if I could pick between Mueller or McConnell I’d pick obstructionist McConnell. He is the primary reason the Republican agenda has hit a brick wall. Oh, wait he is the brick wall!

Now we know McConnell is involved.
To what degree its hard to say.
He knew about the Dosser and that it was being floated by McCain and his staff.

We suspect he was involved in the push for Jeb Bush as he was hearing rumors from the Bush Family based on the Dosser being passed around the CIA.

We know for a FACT he is trying to save at least 3-5 Senators from being kicked out for working with Democrats.
