To: Texas Fossil

I live in a rural area, I agree the data bases on some of these nav systems are weak. It is a tourist area and I have talked to numerous people visiting who blindly follow their system .

I recall one person who ended up in the middle of a wilderness area.

I tell them to talk to a local, the shortest way may not be the best. A longer decent road far outweighs a shorter crappie road.

I’ve learned to turn off all trip navigation advice anywhere near DFW Airport, you will never get to any destination if you use it.

Also in current downtown Dallas, they had foreign contractors upgrading the roads which state took over from bankruptcy and for toll reasons they redirect all the traffic in loonie direction.

I try to avoid Dallas as a consequence of this current nuttiness.
