Incidences of individuals becoming and remaining psychotic due to a one-time use of synthetic, street THC i.e. “spice” are well known. That makes such a potential relationship more than just speculative.

synthetic, street THC

There is no such thing - see post #154 for the facts about "spice."

Cannabinoid then. You’re very insistent upon disagreeing with me or otherwise finding a nit to pick. I suggest you be less obvious in your advocacy of marijuana use. It has it’s place, I have an old friend whose father benefitted greatly while undergoing radiation and chemo for cancer of the intestines. But, for casual, recreational use there are risks associated. Be honest and factual, and admit that. There are risks.

Depends on what you mean by psychosis. Psychosis is a fear-based condition and is a condition of degrees. Some plainly seen, whereas mild psychosis not so much. I personally think some form of this happens to all who take this drug that attacks you neurologically.

That’s not just my own teenage experience and 50+ years of observations talking, but observations from the likes of well-respected medical clinics like the Center for Biotechnology Information and the Mayo Clinic as well. With MJ, there is a definite risk of unreasonable heightened acute fear - nothing like tobacco..

I think you might be one of those MJ users that universally deny these symptoms or at least pretend that there is no difference between the effects of MJ vs. tobacco.

“Guess I was just lucky on that last one”

Me too, that’s why I think it’s so funny.

MANY Boomers grew up in smoking households and did quite well for themselves.

Relating smoking to juvenile delinquency is over-the-top.

"Spice" is a manmade chemical not found in marijuana, so its effects are irrelevant to marijuana - that's not a "nit" (although I understand why you want to pretend it is).

I suggest you be less obvious in your advocacy of marijuana use.

I suggest that as a mindreader you keep your day job - I have never advocated marijuana use.

It has it’s place, I have an old friend whose father benefitted greatly while undergoing radiation and chemo for cancer of the intestines. But, for casual, recreational use there are risks associated. Be honest and factual, and admit that.

I've never denied it - just the many hysterical misrepresentations of risk by the Reefer Madness brigade.

Depends on what you mean by psychosis.

Or what you mean by "is", eh, Mr. Clinton?

I think you might be one of those MJ users that universally deny these symptoms or at least pretend that there is no difference between the effects of MJ vs. tobacco.

Wrong again. I think you might be one of those MJ-phobes who prop up straw men to debate because you can't counter the arguments that are actually made.
