Exactly. Putin wants to get the Russian economy going and also wants to be friends with the US, as well as fights against the Muslim terrorists.

I agree, Putin is a friend of the American people. He is NOT a friend of the American elite.
OK, I will concede he is on the right track with the terrorists, but if he really cared about his people he would not have absconded with their wealth into his piggy bank, or share nuclear secrets with Iran.
