Sunday on CNNs State of the Union, Sen. Lindsey Graham (R-SC) called for a Senate hearing on Attorney General Jeff Sessions decision to fire FBI deputy director Andrew McCabe.
Graham said, To the average American, I think we owe it to the average American to have a hearing in the Judiciary Committee where Mr. Sessions, Attorney General Sessions comes forward, with whatever documentation he has about the firing and give Mr. McCabe has a chance to defend himself. I believe when it comes to this issue, we need as much transparency as possible and make sure it wasnt politically motivated.

What are these GOP scum trying to accomplish? I think it is time we ask them.
Who's side are they on?
Why did they not come to the table today with the FACTS about Power, Comey, and Brennan, threatening the President yesterday? They KNOW that the FBI, DOJ, and the CIA were framing the President of the United States.
So, they need to be asked....WERE THEY IN ON THIS TOO?
I'll bet they were.
continue to expose the republicans that have something to hide.
All the GOP douchenozzles are out spraying douche and trying to out douchenozzle each other today.
The GOP is pure garbage.
This makes zero sense...McCabe was already “retiring” for reasons which were obvious so is that not obviously the reason he was fired?
The press and media hounds like Graham just push one false narrative after another. And millions of people believe it.
Cannot believe what I'm seeing and hearing.
The swamp rats don’t want to be circling the drain.
FU Linda.

Isn't that why the DOJ has an IMPARTIAL Inspector General, Linda? You know, the one whose recommendation led to his firing?
I so wish Graham would be one of the ones caught in their net...
From Lil’ Andy’s lawyer. The future looks dire indeed for him...
[ ] Mr. McCabe and his counsel were given limited access to a draft of the OIG report late last month, did not see the final report and the evidence on which it is based until a week ago.
[ ] We were given only four days to review a voluminous amount of relevant evidence, prepare a response, and make presentations to the Office of the Deputy Attorney General.
It would appear toward the end of last month (February), McCabe and his attorney were given the summary outline of the OIG referral submitted to the Office of Professional Responsibility. They had approximately three weeks to file a response.
Then a week ago, they received the finalized a copy of the OPR recommendation delivered to Deputy Attorney General Rod Rosenstein. They had four more days to respond to the Deputy AG.
I am confident that AG Sessions has nothing to hide, and that given the case file on McCabe, which the American people deserve to see in its entirety, the termination was justified.
I don't think the Senate would have any more success at rehabilitating McCabe and justifying lying to Congress, than the press will have.
Gee it almost seems like some members of Congress are afraid of something ...
Linda is totally politically motivated.
Any "rush" to fire him is because McCabe picked a retirement date that cramped the time avaliable to review the facts.
Didn't Gowdy's House committee just come out with a verdict that there was NO Trump-Russia collusion in the 2016 election?
Job termination for McCabe is a slap on the wrist.
He needs to be criminally prosecuted for all sorts of actions/statements.
“I so wish Graham would be one of the ones caught in their net...”
It may be that Linda is trying to protect his good buddy McCain.
It seems like he’s acting like a jerk, but this is a trap. Recall that Graham has seen the FISA application, made criminal referral for Steele (ignored by FBI/DOJ!), and called for Special Prosecutor.
The swamp creatures are lashing out.
Take note of who’s doing the lashing.
And target them.
He is acting like it. He is protesting his innocence. What is he supposed to do, take false accusations without defending himself? Nonsense on stilts.
McCabe was resigning on his own and someone gave him the brilliant idea to wait until he's 50 and he can collect early retirement. (I hope it was "brother" Comey who gave him the idea.)
He set himself up.
