New Jersey is liberal anyway, but I think we will have to run candidates that fit the district. If it’s a pro-Trump state/district, run someone who is pro-Trump. If it’s a more liberal district and the best we can get is establishment (and that’s generally better than a Democrat...but not always), then that person may have to distance themselves from Trump.

No, this New Jersey Republican is doing the right thing. Why run as a me-too moderate when the voters will just vote for the Dem anyway?

If this was true, then Jeff Flake would be ahead in the polls coasting to an easy re-election.
