Never know when I will get Internet service at my remote location. Just returned from McDs about 12 miles away where I did the ping..caught a ride with my friend Mike and now back

few thoughts as I look outside and see spring being revealed with 6” of snow on my van and still coming down. I can recall a few years ago the Cleveland Indians home opener with a blizzard.. like 12+ inches of snow and the field crews going crazy.. game eventually delayed and then postponed in mid innings.

Sad to not see tweets from DJT Jr. Know this is a very difficult time for him and his family. I hope and pray they see a way to reconcile. Love and many kiddos are motivation enough despite the issues that are troubling

I appreciate POTUS desire and need for privacy and his distaste for MSM coverage.. but wish he would avail himself to his private photographer and give just a few more tidbits of pix/events.. (like the birthday celebration of Barron)

DJT and Playboy gals, Porn stars former “whomever”... Truth/not? who knows. Why the publicity ? Of course to discredit DJT and compromise his base. Well I AM HIS BASE and my feelings are this. I do NOT know if any of this is true but regardless, these are issues that are paramount to Melania and DJT.. not to the public. If he was a party boy.. I don’t condone but that does NOT impact one iota my support of him. Personally with his germ/health phobia, I cannot imagine him indulging in a hooker, even high end.. can you? But from Stormy’s perspective.. what is she promised... true or not.. is there a “someone” in wings (calling Soros) promoting to cover any and all legal costs of the coming lawsuits.

I will continue to support DJT. If he had a dozen hookers in the past to me that is secondary to what he is now accomplishing and will accomplish

Maryland shooter.. some side thoughts. Mixed media accounts if he shot or was unarmed and the perp committed suicide. IF he indeed killed the kid.. well that is heavy stuff for any young or old LEO. I am guessing it was his first and despite the hero labels, to know you ended the life of a young troubled teen will weigh heavily on him. And the shooters parents.. can you imagine the pain. We need to be in thoughtful prayer for a lot of folk in this scenario

Lucy still has the candida issues and who knows what else...she is a sweet older pup and I am glad God put us together last summer to help each other. I look at her sweet face and wonder about the life she had for so many years. I know she is happy now.. she loves our hikes and outings. She and I both miss the water/lake outings of retrieving stick/ball/frisbee. I wish I had the wherewithal to help so many needing animals in shelters. It breaks my heart to see so many wonderful destroyed each day

Well going to try to catch some Zzzzs. Last night my close friend shingles neuralgia was a constant companion.. grrrrr.. about 2 hours sleep total

What, the fresh salsa? Sure. Some fresh salsa can be seen on top of the burrito in Lysie's breakfast photo.

Here are two ways to go about it, both involve chopped cilantro and onion.

The first is:

Chop up an onion and some cilantro, dice a tomato and some pickled jalapenos. Add some of the pickled jalapeno juice and a little touch of lemon or lime juice...maybe some white vinegar.

Stir it up.

If you're starving or otherwise in a hurry, the second is:

Chop up an onion and some cilantro, open a can of diced tomato with jalapenos. Add a splash of lemon or lime juice.

Stir it up.

I actually like the second one better, although it's technically not "fresh salsa". It's faster/easier to make, plus it has the tomato juice as part of the base. I suppose you could combine the two using both diced fresh and the canned tomatoes....depends on the fresh tomatoes you happen to have...those big juicy flavor-packed real tomatoes from your garden being the ideal.

You could chill it, but I'm usually whipping it up as the taco filling is cooking down...then...TACO SALAD!

By the way....you absolutely have to have "Ranch with Bacon" dressing on your taco salad. I think it's required by law.

This is the third morning Tiger has missed breakfast. I hollered around the neighborhood for him yesterday.

I see FOX’s Steve Doocy is in Austin but haven’t heard him reporting.

Traffic is at stand still in some places and 20 something mph in others. If Austin wants to know what it’ll be like if Amazon comes to town, this is it.

Was one of the bomber’s roommates arrested yesterday? He has two so guess we know where they are today. Or will the feds pat them on their heads and send them out into society like they did with the Boston Bomber’s wife and San Bernardino’s grandma? This guy would still be on the loose if he hadn’t paraded into Fed Ex with all the cameras on him. He might as well have taken a bow for the videos. Yeppers, figured he was a 20 something white dude and but got told flat out no way when hoping the bikers were being questioned. Sadly, we’ll likely have copy cats just like school shootings.
