(snip from article) --

It would appear toward the end of last month (February), McCabe and his attorney were given the summary outline of the OIG referral submitted to the Office of Professional Responsibility. They had approximately three weeks to file a response.

Then a week ago, they received the finalized a copy of the OPR recommendation delivered to Deputy Attorney General Rod Rosenstein. They had four more days to respond to the Deputy AG.

Doesn’t sound rushed to me.

also from the article:

Mr. Michael Bromwich is also on record (Op Ed in WaPo) esupporting the Office of Inspector General Michael Horowitz, January 14th, 2017, immediately after the OIG investigation was launched:

January 2017 – The announcement by the Justice Department’s inspector general that his office will look into FBI Director James B. Comey’s handling of Hillary Clinton’s emails reopens painful questions about the 2016 election, but it is also welcome news. The country needs this — an objective, independent and thorough investigation of issues that have roiled the country for months and continue to stir heated debate.

Apologies to any lawyers out there. But years ago a senior manager told me this “The primary job of lawyers is to slow down or stop things.”

Here we have a career government lawyer complaining about a rush to judgement. That is exactly the mindset that created the morass of government that we have now.

Maybe the case of Robyn Gritz is how things are “ usually handled” when judging and firing an FBI employee ?

(snip) -- In addition to looking into the actions of the FBI director regarding the email investigation, the probe will look into whether the FBI’s deputy director should have recused himself from the investigation because of his wife’s political involvement;whether a high-ranking Justice Department official or others improperly disclosed non-public information to both the Clinton and Trump campaigns

So attorney Michael Bromwich was for the OIG investigation (January 2017) until his client, Andrew McCabe, was found to have acted inappropriately/unlawfully as a result of the OIG investigation (March 2018) – and now he’s against it.

I have never before seen the type of rush to judgment >>>>>>>>>>

The President and the DOJ are combating a liberal fascist crime syndicate.

McCabe is a criminal . So are Comey and many others.

Rush to judgement? Buahahahahahahahaha!

This leftist crime syndicate, a weaponized DOJ and FBI, put in place by the magic negro, is perpetrating a continuing coup attempt against a duly elected president of our United States.

They are lucky not to be shot outright.

My take away is the attorney strategy was to try and stall and buy time so that the retirement benefits would not lapse and probably assured his client that they would not act so swift. With an angry client, he is blaming Trump for his miscalculation.

Sessions is being played like a fool, and Rod Rosenstein gives/gave bad advice(s), he has to go.

” rush to summary punishment “

After months and months of everybody knowing about McCabe malfeasance! Sessions could have done his job and fired McCabe and a whole lot of swampers long ago. The current mess is the direct result of his weakness, cowardice and inaction for so long.
And all this just because of ONE scum being fired, not even charged or prosecuted. That tells something about how low Useless Sessions has placed the bar of expectations.

BTW, Sessions is not alone subverting the President’s agenda. Remember Wray testifying under oath before Congress, saying with a straight face that his agency is perfectly ok, while McCabe was still seconding him?
Either Wray is utterly clueless (head of “Investigation”, mind you!), or he was lying and purposedly misled his questionners. Either way is inacceptable and it’s outrageous that he is allowed to be off-the-hook.

Funny, what I found extremely disturbing was McCabes lying under oath.

Call to arms for some, comfort assurance to deplorable:

It should make all federal government employees, who continue to work in an Administration that insults, debases, and abuses them, shudder in the knowledge that they could be next.

It's the right button to push and a good example to all who want to be civil servants.

It's about faithfully carrying out the duties of the office objectively.

Otherwise, "You're fired!"

There are, in this case, still criminal matters that have to be addressed.
