The reason I ask is because you first said, “They haven’t ‘whistled’ yet” ...Then you said, “Those that previously tried to blow the whistle on wrong doing were punished, careers destroyed, etc.”

I see why that was confusing. I wish I could find the link where I saw the comments on this. I’ll try to be more clear.

Evidently there have been some agents that did try to blow the whistle in the past on various issues. They were treated harshly. The remaining agents who had info but had not spoken out, got the message & stayed mum. Now that McCabe is gone, the thought is that the agents that kept quiet out of fear of losing jobs/careers, etc. will now feel that they can speak up.
