GOP lawmaker: McCabe's firing ‘looks like retribution and a bit vindictive’
The Hill ^ | March 17, 2018 | John Bowden

Posted on 03/17/2018 10:56:07 AM PDT by yoe

Republican Rep. Charlie Dent (Pa.) said Saturday that the firing of Deputy FBI Director Andrew McCabe on Friday looked to be a "vindictive" move by the president.

In an interview with CNN, Dent said that while he would wait for the inspector general's report to judge McCabe, his firing looked like retribution from the White House.

"This firing looks a bit forced, a bit rushed. Candidly, it looks like retribution and a bit vindictive," Dent said. "And I think it's unfortunate. The man said he's resigning, you know, and on a Friday night before his 50th birthday he's fired to take away his pension? I don't like the optics of this, I really don't."

Dent added that he believed Attorney General Jeff Sessions was "browbeaten" into firing McCabe Friday night after weeks of public humiliation from President Trump.

"It looks like the attorney general may have been browbeaten into this, he's been publicly humiliated and shamed by the president on multiple occasions, and I just don't think this bodes well."

Could it be that many on our side are more of the southern and gentleman-like persuasion?

I dont know and I dont mean to offend anyone. I’m not well traveled.

I just know how Rudy or Trump or Christie would respond.

They’d say #### McCabe.

Our northeastern lack of couth and manners and our straight shooting can be a turn off.

But sometimes it’s needed.

Of course not all. I’m just wondering if this is ONE aspect that might explain why some, who I believe genuinely feel they are behing honorable by telling what they think, seem to hurt us in their comments.

Worse than Bush guy, Wray was Chris Christie’s personal lawyer and brought into the Trump team by Christie, as was the guy who recommended Rosenstein.

Lots of Christie fingerprints.

There is full-on propaganda from the Mediascum and Democrats over this firing, and so much else.

For an alleged “Republican” to take their side in this vicious partisan battle is disgusting. And it is entirely the Libtards who are being partisan over this. McCabe’s firing resulted from the independent professional processes pursued by the DOJ’s IG and then the OPR of the FBI. These are career (often liberal) legal professionals judging that McCabe should be fired. But Dent is piling onto the MSM’s lies with his own support for their disinformation.

I was driving just now and happened to listen to a bit of NBC news on the radio (which I rarely do, fortunately). They were reporting that McCabe was fired by POTUS Trump’s “order”..... just blatant, most flagrant disinformation.

First, the AG was not approved by the Senate for a while. Then for a very long while, there was no FBI director. When he was finally approved, he needed a while to come up to speed.

Meanwhile, aside and out of view, the office of the Inspector General was established on the case and staffed with 450 lawyers. It is a secure organization with no leaks. It is out of sight and out of mind. The IG is making the investigation and gathering the evidence against who knows how many conspirators.

On a separate course, the House and Senate committes have been little by little exposing the conspiracy that is now exposed by publication of the lovers text messaed

The hue and cry now is to appoint a prosecutor to step in at the head of this organization and with aa grand jury use the report and accumulated evidence to obtain indictments.

It is now all becoming visible, little by little. The conspiracy is so vast that if exposed at once, no one could grasp the scope and complexity.

It is a brilliantly conceived and executed plan

The following perps committing treasonous acts are still free (not an all inclusive list):

Barack Hussein Obama
Valerie Jarrett
Hillary Rodham Clinton
James Clapper
James Comey
Loretta Lynch
John Brennan
John Kerry
Andrew McCabe
George Soros
Huma Abedin

When are the “optics” of Justice Under the Law going to kick in?

Charlie, did you criticize 0bama regarding anything?

For example, Fast & Furious, the Iranian treason, the unconstitutional dreamers act, or the weaponized IRS for starters?

The independent OIG makes a referral to the Office of Professional Standards to fire Knucklehead ‘F-Flynn, F-Trump’ McCade, but Trump is being set up as the guy ‘out to get’ McCabe? This makes no sense. FYI, the FBI fired 19 of their own for lesser misbehavior and Trump wasn’t blamed. Why is it that Hillary supporters/Anti-Trumpers, like McCabe, all think the same way?

McCabe’s firing ‘looks like retribution and a bit vindictive’>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>

What world is Dent living in?

The firing was properly retributive and vindictive.

After all we are speaking of a racketeering effort among McCabe and others to fraudulently set up a duly elected president of the United States for impeachment.

As a matter of fact, many other heads need to roll, and subsequent criminal charges be filed.

AG Sessions is not finished with either McCabe , Comey, or the whole racketeering outfit in the FBI and the DOJ. That includes Mueller.

I assume that the necessary grand jury has already been convened.

This is a cabal of liberal fascist racketeers. They all need to behind bars IMHO.

Seeing this blowback from the GOP over a crook like McCabe, can any of the, ‘Fire Sessions now,’ brigade even begin to imagine what would happen if Trump in fact did fired Sessions?

Rosenstein and Mueller are safe too. The entire DC establishment is just waiting to pounce. Sessions doublecrossed Trump beyond all belief.

Dent already announced he is retiring from Congress, so he is not up for re-election in 2018.

You have listed but a few principles.

For each, there are at least 5 and perhaps 20 conspiratorial underlings.

Then add a few dozen more principles and their non overlapping underlings and the total list is in the hundreds.

It is the underlings that will be or are being silently squeezed to get off the list

‘John McCain must be in really bad condition this weekend.
Otherwise, he would be making statements of ‘worry and disdain’’

Oh, you are so right. McCain is usually very fast off the mark.

But it hasn’t been 24 hrs yet; McCain’s proxies may weigh in yet.

Just to let you know how naïve I am, I had hoped that having a dynamic leader such as Trump would show the spineless Pubbies how to fight and win. I thought if anyone could infuse a spine into these blobs of jello it would be Trump.

Then for the past year I see them “fighting” Trump harder than I have ever seen them fight a democrat and I realize that Republicans are the Washington Generals to the Harlem Globetrotter Democrats. Just there for show and never expecting to win.
