oh I read the article. It clears Hasel of only commenting on the drool of a victim. She ran a black ops interrogation center in Thailand. She ordered videotapes of illegal interrogations to be destroyed. She authorized torture of the wrong person. She is some kind of freak.

This torture is a training technique in our special ops units.

It’s actually enhanced interrogation.

...If we don’t waterboard Khalid Sheik Mohammed, we don’t get OBLs courier and if we don’t get him, we don’t get Bin Laden.

Some of you are worse than Democrats in your ignorance.

Then maybe you should read the following article. The original publication that made the original charge has retracted it. Seems Gina did not take over the base until the "tortures" in question were done. A man was in charge during that time. She is no kind of freak and you need to stop falling for left wing propaganda.

Retraction.

The story said that Haspel, a career CIA officer who President Trump has nominated to be the next director of central intelligence, oversaw the clandestine base where Zubaydah was subjected to waterboarding and other coercive interrogation methods that are widely seen as torture. The story also said she mocked the prisoner’s suffering in a private conversation. Neither of these assertions is correct and we retract them. It is now clear that Haspel did not take charge of the base until after the interrogation of Zubaydah ended.

James Mitchell, the psychologist and CIA contractor who helped to direct the waterboarding of both suspects, said in a broadcast interview on March 14 that Haspel was not the “chief of base” whom he described in his book as making fun of Zubaydah’s suffering.

P.S. I accept your apology.

p.s. From the article in question at top of thread. oh I read the article. It clears Hasel of only commenting on the drool of a victim.

I really don't think you read the article. If you had, you may have noticed the following;

A reading of the same page demonstrates that the Chief of Base present and quoted during this event was a man, not Gina Haspel. This is just one of many false claims about Ms. Haspel being peddled by the uninformed.

With all due respect, I think the author is talking about you in that bolded part. :)
