Yousers! Jerome Corsi is a longtime friend of Trump’s and they still talk. Listen to this little clip about 27-29 minutes in:

https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=RvcZpNr0KF8

He says it is going to take some time, but Trump is on a mission to eliminate the income tax and the Fed. Says he wants to make permanent the cuts that were only made on a temporary basis in last year’s bill.

Looks like the WH outed another leaker.

That is the way to do it. Drop sensational inside office gossip on a co-worker and see if the story gets repeated. Just be sure that the gossip sounds like gossip, that it is extra sensational, and within the realm of possibility, then make sure it is only released to one target.

If the gossip surfaces within the organization, worse on the front page of the paper, the co-worker repeats tales.

Very difficult to work in an environment of sensitive information with staff sharing office gossip

A very good point to ponder.

Fingers crossed that this report is accurate. If so, it's 3 globalists down in 1 week (Cohn, Tillerson and McMaster).

I'm actually hoping it isn't true, because the replacements for these guys aren't looking much better than the originals. In many cases they're worse.

Kudlow's views are identical to Cohn's - so one advocate of "free trade" and open borders has been replaced by another.

I never liked McMaster because anyone approved of and admired by John McCain is bound to be bad news. The trouble is, rumor has it that John Bolton is in line to replace McMaster, and Bolton is McCain-Graham on steroids.

Please explain. I have yet to see anything from Bolton I didn’t like (whereas to me Carlson is not on board). Where is Bolton off the track?

If Bolton had his way, we'd have US ground troops fighting in the civil wars of about a half-dozen additional countries right now. If voters wanted Bush administration retreads running the show, they could have just voted for Jeb. Trump's victory in the primaries was a repudiation of Bush-brand Republicanism with its "invade the world, invite the world" combination of nation-building foreign interventions and liberal immigration policy.

You ek are so correct. This is one of the problems we are dealing with now. People tend to not pay attention to the things some of the ex Bushies and their cohorts actually say.

Some do not hate Trump, and are not unkind, but their opinions do not match up with what the voters voted for.

Things like that really matter!

What do you have to support that?

Bush administration retreads

Actually, he's a Reagan retread and almost all of Reagan's men were golden. Under Reagan, he held positions in the U.S. Agency for International Development and as assistant attorney general from 1985–89.

Gonna need some reliable evidence that Bolton is not one of the good guys.

As far as I know, Bolton was for Trump from the start.

Gonna need some reliable evidence that Bolton is not one of the good guys.

Bolton wants regime change in Syria and Iran. That's going to require US ground troops stuck in two more quagmires for years if not decades to come.

Depends on how you define "good guys." If you think that John McCain and Lindsey Graham's foreign policy makes them good guys, then Bolton is golden. Not so much otherwise.

Good Guy: Patriot who wants to restore America's Free Constitutional Republic.

Bolton wants regime change in Syria and Iran.

Who doesn't?

That's going to require US ground troops stuck in two more quagmires for years if not decades to come.

Who says? You can support insurgent freedom lovers within a country without that idiotic nonsense. Good, intelligent, stealth support - no troops. Like Reagan, not like Boneheaded Bush. And at his core, unless you have reliable proof otherwise, I think Bolton is more like Reagan than Bush.

Well, regime change worked so well for Libya...oh, wait...

You can support insurgent freedom lovers within a country without that idiotic nonsense.

Who exactly are these "insurgent freedom lovers" in Syria? The "Free Syria Army" championed by McCain and Hillary is mostly made up of Muslim Brotherhood and Al Nusra fighters who manage to look "moderate" only in comparison to ISIS.

That’s right. We should be very careful about our allegiances, especially in the Middle East.

Again, show me proof that Bolton wants ground troops in Syria or Iran. I don’t think so.
