Rethink those weekend joyrides? How about re-thinking putting this assclown back in office. Just because the local govts mismanage the gas taxes isn't a reason to try to gain control over the traveling public.

You’re going to put a GPS thing in my car and track my every motion?

They want to do the same thing in WA. Tax the state drivers per mile but out of state people won’t pay the tax. They’ll get a free ride. Then too the lawmakers say the gas tax will come off. Right.

How about we pay congressmen in oxygen and restrict quantity for each stupid and unconstitutional idea they propose?

Where do these asshats come from.

Samuel Bruce Graves Jr. is the U.S. Representative for Missouri's 6th congressional district, serving since 2001. He is a member of the Republican Party.

He's been in Washington too long - IOW, he's a Swamp Creature.

But wait a minute. Cars are more fuel-efficient and people are car-pooling more because of the gas tax. Isn’t that what the Statists want?

I would agree. I’m guessing they would first look for people to approve some idiotic thing like this & after it got voted in,THEN set the ground rules & the rates, etc. Best to just say no,because it could mean someone paying high rates who puts on very few miles.

Only put the tax per mile on Electric cars, 1/2 on gas/e;ec.

Or how to kill the electric car business. Lets tax pets instead!

Missouri is the “show me” state ... Let’s hope the voters “show” this jackass the door.

Republican Rep. Sam Graves of Missouri trusts big government.

Has he heard what big government is trying to do to President Trump?

I say we test it out on All Federal and State Employee’s first, tell us how it works in 3 years, let’s say 50 cents per mile to begin with.

The amount of money paying for gas tax and vehicle registration is already astronomical
