I taught Geneva and Hague Conventions as a JAG Officer in the Army and all of us were mortified when the so-called lawyers in the Justice Department authorized torture. Torture DOES NOT produce reliable information and puts the lives of US personnel at risk for HORRENDOUS treatment not to mention that torture is NOT LEGAL!

The Geneva Convention does not apply to enemy combatants who are not a part of any nations army, no matter how strident the left caterwauls about it.
