IMHO it's not so much gun grabbers as it is Trump cultists who back every word the President says for the sole reason that he said it - like when he was backing RINOcare.
Given the frequency at which he changes his verbal positions that's like repeatably slamming the car transmission in forward and reverse again.
Hitting the gas pedal to the floor and then slamming the breaks , over and over.
