Denver Sheriff's Department isn't really a police agency. Denver Police Department provides law enforcement to the City. All the Sheriff's Department does is run the jail and serve papers. And they don't do that well. The city has paid out millions in settlements for the Department abusing and injuring prisoners. They let one girl arrested for DUI die in her own vomit.

It's not an excuse for this, but they're a pretty lame bunch.

Well that explains it. Peter Boyle (morning show KNUS) is all over the corrupt mayor, the law firm, and former police chief asking for all video coming and going into Players/Swingers from years ago.

Boyles has been great on this. Boyles, channel 7 news, and Westword--that's it. Everyone else is ignoring the corruption, and has ignored it for years. Remember when Denver was a safe, beautiful city? Even as a Democrat city? I do. It wasn't that long ago. Liberals have destroyed one of the most pleasant big cities in the U.S.

Who “bonded” this bastard “out” and why wasn’t it the full $25,000 (which no sane Bail bondsman/company would risk on this clear flight risk)?

Did the perp have tracking bracelets?

Did ICE get a warrant in time to bag him?

If not, ICE had better get off their stupid asses and make “warrants” a priority in sanctuary states/cities.

THERE IS ABSOLUTELY NO EXCUSE TO LET A CRIMINAL LIKE THIS OUT ON THE STREETS.
