Buying alcohol is not a right enshrined in the constitution.

However, I believe the states can regulate weapons sales to some degree.

So, if 18 is too young, irresponsible and inexperienced to purchase a weapon, surely it it too young to VOTE!

Bottom line is it took a Constitutional Amendment to give the vote to 18 year old’s.

States have the right to determine who can vote otherwise.

This will be interesting.

I bet these people are furiously supportive of the measure too, hypocrisy is so rampant in the Democratic party it’s embarrassing to witness. If memory serves Pelosi was advocating lowering the voting age to 16 as well.
