The US economy gained a surprisingly strong 313,000 jobs in February.
That was much stronger than economists expected and the best showing since July 2016.
Unemployment stayed at 4.1%, the lowest in 17 years.
Wages grew 2.6% in February compared with a year earlier, according to Labor Department figures published Friday.

I only posted this because it had to make CNN choke on their own vomit to report it.
Surprisingly?
Not to most of us...

For Trump: More winning. With this and and the Norks capitulation, I’m almost tired of winning. Nah.
For CNN and the Deep State Media, more losing.
Is schadenfreude a sin?

Yes they could. I have heard them say obummer left a very good framework for a strong economy.

“Surprisingly strong” and “unexpected” good. Again. After eight years of “surprisingly weak” and “unexpected” economic news that was bad.

Can anyone find the quote from Nancy Pelosi from during the Bush admin where she said any jobs number under 500K was not a good sign for the economy? I’ve been searching for years for it.

Under Obama, economic news was always "unexpected," as in "unexpectedly" lower, less or worse.
Under President Trump, economic news is usually "surprisingly," as in "surprisingly" higher, more, or better than thought.
There's a great economic boom occurring now...you can either get on board the Trump train, or be run over by it.

That was much stronger than economists expected and the best showing since July 2016. The same "economists" that keep getting surprised are the same ones telling us how bad Trump's policies are for the economy....
