I took an entire time lapse set of photos myself one day when a beautiful clear day was badly marred by this activity.
They are NOT contrails - I grew up next to one of the biggest airports in the world and know exactly what a contrail looks like, and this ain’t it. Contrails fade pretty quickly. Whatever is being sprayed in the air does not, it hangs out quite a while.
